Trying like mad to finish my assignments...

I went on vacation last week and got to see the Packers at home for pre-season game - It was great!  Having said that I am trying like mad to finish up my assignments for Gotta Pixel.  I have Captivated Visions this month and chose to work with her August Grab Bag - Page Turner I am doing another mini album and I will show you a few of the pages that haven't been printed yet, and the digi layout I did as well.  I will post the finished album when I complete it.

Here are a few samples of what will become my mini album.
And here my Digi Layout

The finished mini...

All right, I finished it!  It was simple - Print, glue together, cut, punch holes and decorate a bit.  I did ink the edges a bit, but used a yellow chalk and it didn't show up very much so it isn't noticeable in the photo.  I hope you like it as much as I do!  Again the kits I  used was Me, Myself and I by Sweet Digi Scraps, cooradinating alpha by Danyale, Alpha Basics, and As We Know It by Sweet Digi Scraps all available at Gotta Pixel.

LOL oh well yet another goal to work toward!  Today I am stoked because after 2 weeks of working our tails off doing some frantic home improvements and a other crazy real life interruptions I finally got to scrap a couple of layouts.  I did some work with designs by Sweet Digi Scraps and focused on doing some journaling.  I used Sibling Love kit and coordinating Alphas for this first layout

This next layout I used Sweet Digi Scraps Three Rs kit and made this layout.  I have to say - I LOVE the way this layout turned out and this is kit and coordinating word art by Danyale are so fabulous!

July is half over

How in the world did that happen?!  It has been super busy for me!  I got brave and applied for Sweet Digi Scraps CT and made it!  what a wonderful team to be on!  That takes me to my limit - 3 CT is all I can handle.  I will post layouts with Liz's goodness later this week, but today I am gonna share with you two layouts I made using Julie Marie Designs' Red, Blue and Denim kit.  This is such cute kit and it work perfectly for some fun pictures I had of my youngest playing at a local splash park/playground  I hope you enjoy the layouts and don't forget you can find this awesome kit at Gotta Pixel

I am back!

just like a bad penny!  I finished a second layout with The 365 Grab Bag by Captivated Visions and Jessica Edwards.  This mega kit is so versatile!  These photos are from an easter egg hunt that had to brought indoors do to snow and cold  the girls had fun for a short time until they got too cold, but the hot cocoa helped and they loved meeting the "Easter Bunny"  Remember you can pick up this kit or portions of it at Gotta Pixel  Here

Howdy!

Well the end of the month is upon me and I am drowning trying to catch up!  I have a few things in real life to get going, work as always throws me a curve every now and then fate laughs at me.  I ran out of ink on my printer so I haven't been able to print and finish my Father's Day card, but that will be done later today.  I have done a layout for my CT assignment for Gotta Pixel using Captivated Visions goodies, but I need to make one more. Here is the first layout I did using Captivated Visions 365 Grab Bag Collaboration with Jessica Edwards it is available here (linked to the element2 pack) at Gotta Pixel.  I will be back tonight with the promised Father's Day card...

Summer vacation is upon us

Summer vacation has started and it brings less computer time and more kid time.  Yesterday, though while the girls were working on cleaning their bedrooms I got a layout done that right now is a favorite!  I had taken a bunch of pictures one afternoon last month when we went and played at the playground and when I was going through all the photos I knew what theme I wanted to do, and yesterday it just fell right into place!

I used the kit Zoolicious by A+ Designs available at Gotta Pixel HERE I also added additional Monkeys from Going Nanas by Sweet Digi Scraps also available Gotta Pixel HERE  The additional yellow alpha is a Captivated Visions BLOG Freebie by Dana (me) using Pink Lemonade by Captivated Visions

I will be back tomorrow with the Father's Day card I am doing with A+ Designs Zoolicious!  It is such a fun kit!!

I did it!

My friend is a fantastic hybrid scrapper, and she talked me in to trying out a mini album she created using Sweet Digi Scraps Adore kit.  The album can be found at Gotta Pixel here and the coordinating kits is here I was intimidated at first since I have not ever done one before, but it really was simple and FUN!  After placing my chosen photos and text in pages I printed, glued, trimmed and edged, I am very happy with the out come and want to shout a big thank you to Danyale for the great tutorial on her blog to help me do it so I love it!  Now I am spreading my wings and going to try my own album!  Here are pictures of the finished product and my daughter LOVES it which is great since I made it for her!

well, I didn't make it long...

so I will have to try again!  In my defense by parents came and all plans that had been made fell apart and chaos ensued!  So anyway, here are my remaining May layouts for Gotta Pixel that I worked on.  Both of these layouts used Kathryn Estry's Cardinal Lane kit.  I love the rich colors of this kit!

This first layout is of my youngest at around 4 months of age.

This second layout is a current picture of the same daughter!  She had just climbed up on top of the monkey bars like her older sister when I took this picture.  You can find this great kit here at Gotta Pixel!

More Infinity

One more with Infinity page kit by Silvia Romeo.  This kit is soft and worked well for the pictures of little girls in pretty dresses like the ones in this layout.  Again you can find this kit here at Gotta Pixel.  I also use a template from May's Simply Sketchy with Laura challenge at Gotta Pixel which can be found here

The Tooth Fairy Story

I have wanted to write down this story for a long time and I finally did!  I am so pleased with how these turned out.  I used a fantastic kit called Toothiness by Creations by Rachael and Eva Marina Scraps combined with some awesome all stacked up templates (Midnight Musings and Happy Being Me)   by Captivated Visions.  These templates are so great at helping me get a page started because they get you started playing with the elements and papers.

Toothiness is available at Gotta Pixel here and the Templates are available at Elemental Scraps and Gotta Pixel.

I know don't fall off your chair....

yep a second post in less than 5 days...  I decided to try a hybrid for a change and although I do it simple rather than others who are very talented and have still paper scrapping supplies and do beautiful hybrids.  I made a pen cup.  It was rather simple and may have to be redone by the end of 8 weeks but who cares - I like it!  It brings a little sunshine to my desk and that is what matters!  I used Doodle Basics again by Shawnery Mathis and a empty clean food jar.

I really am not a blogger

phew I have been super busy and honestly I am a terrible blogger.  I really do this blog to show off what scrapbook pages I have created lately.  I am not a real chatty person and have a hard time finding something to say here.  However, I will keep trying.  A friend suggested I put this on my weekly to do list so at least I will have about a post a week.  Don't worry it probably won't be too chatty just a post with some layouts and credits.

This week I am working with Doodled Basics from Shawnery Mathis found in her store at Gotta Pixel Elements Papers and Alpha were all used to create this layout of our youngest.  Her attitude is often one would picture a queen having the highest point of the playground at this moment I thought - queen of the playground (rather than king of the hill)
Also used in this layout is a template from Captivated Visions' Lilypad Lane All Stacked Up Template Pack (love these templates)

WHAT?!!

Where did February go?  I am so sorry I haven't had a chance to come here and post but it was a whirlwind month for me.  I am doing a project at work which means I am working daytime hours.  That in turn means when I am home so are my children and they like attention when I am home and they are awake.  It has been an adjustment that I am still working on.  I figure by the time I have it done the project will be over and I will be back on my evening working hours! LOL

I have been busy creating all sorts of layouts when I get a chance and will share them in other posts  so I can tag them!
The end of February marked the end of my guest spot on Captivated Visions CT but I was offered to stay and I was more than happy to do so.  I so love her designs and working with her products.  Here is what I have created with her products in the last few weeks.  Her products can be found at Gotta Pixe and Elemental Scraps

ADSR 5 is well underway and I would like to share what I created for the challenges. In order of the challenges here is 2, 3, and 5 .  #1 and #4 can be found below in the next thread (Wendy and the ATCs)

Gotta Pixel CT layouts for February

I worked with products from Elka Romero and Dustybear in February and really enjoyed the kits.

Elka has a great kit that I used for a vintage photo I have of my dads cousins, I also used it to make my ATCs for one of the ADSR5 Challenges. The kit is called Days Gone By and can be found here

Dustybear has this beautiful kit Affinity and here is what I created with it.
